Taylor Swift Is Cozy in a Hooded Sweater Dress and Chunky Boots
Taylor Swift is all of us trying to be stylish while braving the snowy New York City winter—except, she nails it.
On Thursday, the superstar was seen on her way to Electric Lady Studios, looking so cozy and chic in a long, tan, knit hooded dress that we are already adding to our shopping carts. (We have yet to find the exact piece, but similar styles are available at Nap, Marcella NYC, Helsa, and Amazon.)
Over the dress—which featured a pretty ribbed detail at the hem—Swift layered a warn black coat. She finished the look with chunky black platform boots worn over opaque black tights, plus a beige suede tote bag from Manu Atelier.
The “Karma” singer wore her hair down, straight, and had on her signature jet-black cat eye, plus a fresh orange lip.

Swift has been influencing us with her style all season—from her fierce red-carpet looks, to her preppy-meets-grunge girls’ night ensembles, to her NFL game-day fits.
Earlier this month, she attended the Golden Globe Awards, where she dazzled in a Reputation-coded sequin gown in an electric-green hue. The custom Gucci piece designed by Sabato De Sarno featured a cupped bra, thin shoulder straps, and an open back embellished with three straps.
She wore another fabulous green look while out to dinner with friend Blake Lively. The look included a scrunchy green velvet minidress with long sleeves and a flirty skirt, which the singer-songwriter wore over sheer black tights and paired it with pointy thigh-high calf leather boots from Jimmy Choo’s latest collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier. Decorating the boots were hand-drawn tattoo-style illustrations of—wait for it—snakes. Swifties know.
