Maison Ladures New Soho Home

Come February, fashion showgoers will have a new sweet spot. Ladurée's largest U.S. location to date will include a sit-down restaurant, outdoor seating area, retail space and two themed salons that will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The two themed salons, one inspired by Madame de Pompadour, the other by Madeleine Castaing, can also be reserved for private events.
Classic menu items such as chicken breast vol au vent with a creamy wild mushroom sauce and a Champs-Elysées club sandwich will be served alongside a recipe specially developed by Ladurée's chef for their New York audience: fresh kale salad.
The retail space will stock the decadent, colorful macarons and pastries by which we know Ladurée best. The macarons will still be freshly flown in from Paris.

Ladurée SoHo's salon inspired by French antique dealer and interior designer, Madeleine Castaing contains a plush leopard print carpet and lavish décor. Original letters from French writers such as Colette, Juliette Récamier, George Sand and more will hang, framed, on the walls for visitors to admire.
The second salon, inspired by Madame de Pompadour carries on the theme of beauty and luxury. The flooring will be a mosaic made out of five different types of Italian marble. This salon will also take inspiration from Ladurée's Paris home on the Champs-Elysées.
Finally, the garden space for dining will open later this spring, so guests can enjoy the great outdoors while eating their macarons in style.

Consider Ladurée's upcoming flagship a work of art, with its 18th Century antique furnishings and lamps flown in from Europe. Both salons will also include hand-painted frescos on the ceilings.
Ladurée SoHo opens on Feb. 5th at 396 Broadway, New York, New York.
